Nikki Ver Steeg, RD, LN is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Wellness Coach with over 10 years of experience.  After battling her own belly fat she is dedicated to being on your side as you rage a war against your own belly fat!  What you eat plays an important role in removing that mid-section that tends to frustrate us.  By providing educational material through this blog, she strives to slim up your waistline, decrease your inches and lower that belly fat which is working to seek out health troubles for you.  As you look through the  recommendations you will find suggestions for food choices and supplements to help you reach your goal of improving your health. 

Nikki has been published in many health and nutrition articles including nationally syndicated television interviews and is recognized as a leading nutrition authority.  Nikki provides nutrition coaching to a variety of clients but specializes in metabolic syndrome – she calls this the belly fat syndrome and assisting with behavior change.  Nikki’s true passions are motivation you to improve your health through nutrition and saying goodbye to belly fat!

As a progressive nutrition professional, she is committed to continued education to bring forth the best nutrition recommendations possible.  To improve success rates, she fits nutrition to client’s lifestyles.

Clientele include stay at home parents, entrepreneurs, students, and a wide range of working professionals, including physicians.  Her previous areas of development include corporate wellness programs, innovative meal planning guides, cookbook writing and motivational speaking.

She was recently awarded the American Dietetic Association’s Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year and is a member of the American Dietetic Association, the South Dakota Dietetic Association and the Nutrition Entrepreneurs practice group.   She serves as the Spokesperson for the South Dakota Dietetic Association.
