Nikki Ver Steeg is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Wellness Coach with over 10 years of experience. During these 10 years, she has extensively studied the effect of diet in oxidative stress and belly fat. After battling her own belly fat, she is dedicated to your fight against your own belly fat! What you eat plays an important role in slimming that frustrating mid-section. As the visible effects of poor lifestyle and diet show thru with body fat, we also know that the oxidative stress in our bodies is also causing us to age.
By providing educational material through this blog, she strives to slim up your waistline, decrease your inches, lower that belly fat and lower oxidative stress also referred to as the rusting of your body. Nikki is recognized as a leading nutrition authority and has been published in many health and nutrition articles including nationally syndicated television interviews. Nikki provides nutrition coaching to a variety of clients, but specializes in metabolic syndrome (that belly fat!) and assisting with behavior change. Nikki’s true passion is motivating you to improve health through nutrition and proper supplementation!

As a progressive nutrition professional, she is committed to continued education to bring forth the best nutrition recommendations possible. To improve success rates, she fits nutrition to client’s lifestyles.

Clientele include stay at home parents, entrepreneurs, students, and a wide range of working professionals, including physicians. Her previous areas of expertise include corporate wellness programs, innovative meal planning guides, cookbook writing and motivational speaking.

She was recently awarded the American Dietetic Association’s Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year and is a member of the American Dietetic Association, the South Dakota Dietetic Association and the Nutrition Entrepreneurs practice group. She previously served as the Spokesperson for the South Dakota Dietetic Association.
